What the Hour of Power is like

Your guide shows you the controls and runs through the safety briefing at check-in. Then the group eases out through the superyacht moorings, a 6-knot zone, before opening up across Airlie Bay toward Pigeon Island. The guide slows things down there so you can look for sea turtles and grab a photo, then leads you back through the moorings to the dock. The exact route always depends on the weather and the water on the day.

Jet ski tour questions

Do I need a licence to ride a jet ski in Airlie Beach with you?
No. You don't need a jet ski licence or any experience. Your guide gives a full safety briefing and training before you leave.
Is the price per person or per jet ski?
Per jet ski. $197 covers one or two riders, so it's $98.50 each when you share.
Can two people swap driving during the tour?
Ask your guide. A swap can only happen at a designated stop when the guide says conditions allow.
Will we see turtles?
Around Pigeon Island the guide slows the group so you can look for sea turtles, but wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
What if the weather turns?
Tours can be cancelled for high winds, storms or rough seas. You'll be offered a full refund or a free reschedule.
Where do I check in?
At the jet ski desk inside Rufus & Co Cafe, 33 Port Drive, Port of Airlie. Arrive 30 minutes before your departure.
